Stepping out for a good cause, Nicole Scherzinger was spotted at the Lopez Foundation’s July 4th Celebration in Studio City, California on Monday (July 4).

The “Buttons” babe looked to be having a marvelous time as she joked around with “Lopez Tonight” funnyman George Lopez and posed for the paparazzi.

In a recent interview, Nicole told press that she often receives criticism about her driving abilities from her boyfriend, Formula One race car driver Lewis Hamilton.

“He’s always telling me to have two hands on the wheel because I didn’t know that you have to — who does that? Then sometimes I’ll let my hand kind of swoop across the wheel, depending on how I’m feeling, but he says you have to have two hands, and do a full turn like that. He’s very safe.”

Adam Lambert's legions of fans love him for his kind personality and considerate nature almost as much as they revere him for his enormous talent. That certainly says a lot about the reasons for the 29-year-old's popularity. In a recent message posted on Twitter, the singer showed his sweet side by paying the highest compliment to former Pussycat Dolls member Carmit Bachar.

Fellow recording artist Carmit Bachar is expecting her first child. She posted the following message on Twitter: "Omg... I'm gonna be a mommy!!! #stillcantbelieveit."

The American Idol graduate obviously realizes the importance of motherhood. He holds his mother in high regard. So it's no surprise that Adam Lambert, ever the gentleman, responded with an enthusiastic: "@IamCarmit a GREAT mommy."

It speaks well of the popular recording artist that he recognized a wonderful opportunity to support Carmit Bachar by reassuring her that she will make a great mother.

What could be even better than Adam Lambert's supportive response to Carmit Bachar's Tweet? Dozens of his followers re-Tweeted his message thus lending the former Pussycat Doll even more support and love.

Fresh off a flight from London where she was taping Britain’s “Popstar to Operastar,” Melody Thornton spoke with Rap-Up TV about being voted off the singing competition (“It’s difficult being American on a show in the U.K.”) and her new single “Sweet Vendetta” off her forthcoming solo debut.

“I’m hoping by next year I should have something together as far as an album goes, but we’re just doing it song by song,” said the former Pussycat Doll. “I did ‘Sweet Vendetta’ on a shoestring budget. I’m funding it myself, independent artist.”

Melody has developed a liking for classical music after her time on “Popstar” and plans to incorporate it into her future. “I really love it now,” she shared.

She’s replaced Cheryl Cole as a judge on the U.S. X-Factor and has Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton as a boyfriend — and on top of that, Nicole Scherzinger has legs as lean and toned as a top athlete’s.

WORKOUT SECRETS

Scherzinger works out with Beverly Hills-based personal trainer, Adam Ernster, who prescribes plenty of running and dancing as cardio activity to keep weight down, alongside a specific lower-body workout for the singer.

Exercises include squats performed with an exercise ball, lunges with kettlebells and single-leg squats.

TRY THIS

One of the moves Adam Ernster prescribes is The Froggy:

  1. Lie face down with your hips centered on a large exercise ball and your hands on the ground in front of you, elbows slightly bent.
  2. Bend your knees and press the soles of feet together.
  3. Lift your legs until thighs are parallel to the ground.
  4. Lower legs and repeat ten to 12 times.
